TORONTO, ON, December 7, 2016 – Dell EMC today announced that it has appointed Deanna Thomson as National Director for Canada, Channel Sales. In her new role, Thomson will be responsible for the Canadian Channel Sales for Dell EMC. Thomson will report into Gregg Ambulos, Senior Vice President of North America Channels at Dell EMC.
Thomson, a 20-year Dell veteran, has spent the past eight years as Channel Account Manager for Western Canada. Prior to this role, she has held a variety of sales and leadership roles, in all of our business segments.

Previously announced at Dell EMC World in October, Dell EMC is combining the best elements of the former Dell and EMC channel programs to create a new, tiered partner program globally. The new Dell EMC Partner Program will ensure all partners have ample opportunity, business confidence and commensurate profitability, regardless of their tier. The expansive program will encompass the entire Dell EMC partner ecosystem, inclusive of Solution Providers, Cloud Service Providers, Global Alliances, OEM Solutions partners and distribution.

In addition, Michael Kerr, Channel Sales leader for EMC Canada, has announced his retirement. “I want to thank him for all his hard work and effort over the past 64 quarters and wish him the best. Michael will be working with Deanna to ensure a smooth transition over the next few months,” added Ambulos.
Along with Thomson’s vast work experience, she has participated in key company initiatives including the Dell North America Presidents Council and the Client Solutions Advisory Board.
