COCHRANE, Alberta, Sept. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Garmin Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Garmin, today announced the unveiling of its new headquarters. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place this morning at 11:00 am to celebrate the company’s office in Cochrane, Alberta and becoming the official Canadian Headquarters for Garmin. The new headquarters is testament to the rapid growth of Garmin Canada and stands to significantly accelerate technological momentum within the local area and beyond.
At the ribbon cutting event, media and invited guests will have the opportunity to learn more about Garmin’s growing presence in Canada and discuss the latest developments in outdoor, fitness and wireless technologies. Garmin Canada team members will provide a guided tour of the headquarters to invitees, including Cochrane Mayor Jeff Genung and MP Blake Richards, as well as members of the media. Garmin International executive team members will also be in attendance.
