In November, InsightaaS principal analyst Michael O'Neil published the acclaimed "The Death of Core Competency: A management guide to cloud computing and the zero-friction future." The first-ever title published under the InsightaaS Press imprint, The Death of Core Competency combined a vision of cloud's impact on executive management with practical guidance on adopting cloud across the organization.
The book was launched at a CenturyLink event last November, at which O'Neil delivered a keynote presentation examining cloud's management implications. Now, the focus is shifting to the adoption advice contained in the book. On February 18, O'Neil will team with CenturyLink to deliver "Twelve steps to cloud success." The presentation, part of CenturyLink's "A Reset on the Panacea of Cloud" breakfast series, analyses the essential steps involved in moving from the business issues that prompt initial consideration of cloud-based solutions to broad adoption of cloud-based business infrastructure.
The Reset on the Panacea of Cloud event featuring "Twelve Steps to Cloud Success" is scheduled for February 18 from 8:00-10:30 at the St. Andrew’s Club & Conference Centre, located in the Sun Life Financial Tower at 150 King Street West in Toronto.
