Montreal, September 14, 2017 — Fueled by exponential growth and a rapidly-expanding international customer base, Montreal-based start-up TrackTik Inc. has been awarded two prestigious entrepreneurial honours.
A leading provider of workforce management solutions to the security industry with two-year revenue growth of 826 per cent, TrackTik this week took home the Startup Canada Global Entrepreneurship Award for the Quebec Region and was named No. 15 on the 2017 STARTUP 50 ranking of Canada’s Top New Growth Companies by Canadian Business and PROFIT.
“We are honoured and excited to be in the company of the bold innovators recognized by the STARTUP 50 and are grateful to Startup Canada for this honour and recognition,” said TrackTik Founder and CEO Simon Ferragne, adding that this is the company’s second consecutive year making it into the STARTUP 50 ranking. “It takes a tremendous effort from everyone on our team to propel our company in this way and I am very proud of their passion, dedication and the success they bring our clients. This teamwork is why we are where we are today.”
Since the company’s launch in 2013, TrackTik has grown to 65 employees, with more than 200,000 users at 105,000 facilities in 30 countries. A pioneer in developing mobile and web-based software to manage and coordinate security personnel for both security companies and corporations, TrackTik has become the No. 1 software in the industry “by driving efficiency and growth through automation and accurate data,” Ferragne said.
Today, the company is a global leader in security workforce management, providing the market with innovative solutions to optimize, standardize and centralize data to be leveraged for businesses. Through its innovative system and multi-feature platform, TrackTik connects field personnel to management and clients via a suite of unsurpassed guard management tools, powerful business intelligence modules and automated financial management solutions.
“In today’s uncertain world, we are enabling organizations to give their security personnel an added level of security themselves, and today’s technology makes the spread of an outstanding solution easier than ever,” Ferragne said.
“I have the honour of coming to work every day with 65 impassioned employees who are striving to conquer the world, and I personally want to thank every single person on our team, partners, and dear clients,” he added.
According to Deborah Aarts, STARTUP 50 and PROFIT 500 program manager: “This year’s STARTUP 50 winners are truly remarkable. Not only have they brought new offerings to market, they’ve earned enough traction to grow their revenues exponentially in a very short period of time. Any aspiring entrepreneur should look to them for insight into how to create, and grow, a thriving startup today.”
Victoria Lennox, Founder and CEO of Startup Canada, echoed this sentiment in congratulating all of this year’s Startup Canada 2017 regional award winners. “Each and every one of these outstanding recipients have an immense impact on the future of Canada and they all represent the greatness and diversity of our nation’s entrepreneurship community,” she said.
